There is plenty of sunshine for outdoor activities today with the mercury expected to creep to 10 degrees.

Morning frost after an overnight low of -4.6degrees at 5am.

Light winds.

POLICE

Local police had nothing to report from overnight.

FIRE

Several fire crews attended a Ballarat East house fire on Saturday evening.

Crews were called to a Webb Avenue address just after 6.30pm where a fire is believed to have started in the kitchen.

AMBULANCE

Paramedics had no trauma incidents to report on.

V/LINE

Ballarat train services appear to be running on time.
